Our teachers are fully qualified to teach many genres of dance as well as Musical Theatre and Drama. They also bring true life experiences to their teaching as having been professional performers themselves. Demonstrating positive leadership skills and dedicated to bringing out the best in all who have a passion for the Performing Arts, encouraging pupils from the very timid to the mega ambitious to find their niche.
As well as following traditional teaching methods, the teachers use their individual strengths to enhance the pupils ability to learn and this is evident with the Special Needs Dance and Musical Theatre classes that are currently run at LJSI.
As a relatively young performing Arts School, one of the many attributes is Lisa Jay’s creed which states an ‘Inclusive’ school. Many people who attend or visit LJSI pride themselves on being made to feel welcome, included and respected.
